Ulega warns negligent, corrupt TEMESA employees
DODOMA: MINISTER for Works, Mr Abdallah Ulega has warned on the acts of negligence and corruption amongst employees on the Tanzania Engineering and Manufacturing Services Agency (TEMESA), saying such malpractices might undermine all the nice work the company has accomplished.
Speaking to the TEMESA administration and regional managers in Dodoma lately, Mr Ulega stated that the federal government was decided to make TEMESA the main establishment for servicing each authorities and personal autos.
“We must fight against acts of negligence and corruption. This is the disease that destroys many institutions and we truly need to use all our power to combat it,” he stated.
This was the primary assembly between Minister Ulega and TEMESA since his appointment to the ministry earlier this month.
“Congratulations on starting the new strategy that will enable you to operate commercially by collaborating with the private sector when necessary to serve the community effectively. We at TEMESA must show people that if you pay me, I will deliver the work on time,” stated Ulega.
He additionally counseled establishments such because the Bank of Tanzania (BOT), EWURA, TANESCO and the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) for paying their money owed on time and receiving fast companies, urging different authorities establishments to signal high quality and well timed service contracts with TEMESA to assist the company scale back its money owed.
