TASAF beneficiaries endorsed on items requirements
COAST REGION: TANZANIA Social Action Fund (TASAF) beneficiaries from the Coast Region have been inspired to supply high-quality merchandise that may compete in native and world markets.
Coast Region, Regional Administrative Secretary (RAS), Mr Rashid Mchatta, mentioned lately that top high quality merchandise can penetrate huge markets and generate revenue for themselves and contributing to the nation’s economic system.
“High-quality products have the potential to penetrate both local and global markets by meeting consumer demands, ensuring consistency and adhering to international standards,” he mentioned.
Mr Mchatta made the assertion on the conclusion of a five-day coaching for TASAF beneficiaries, organised by the Regional Commissioner’s workplace on the Small Industries Development Organisation (SIDO) in Kibaha Town.
The coaching introduced collectively 20 beneficiaries from 4 district councils together with Bagamoyo, Kibaha Town, Kibaha District and Chalinze, together with 4 Community Development Officers from these councils.
Mr Mchatta emphasised that the federal government launched the programme to assist households dwelling in poverty enhance their lives by numerous sustainable tasks.

He urged beneficiaries to place into observe the talents realized through the coaching to attain constructive outcomes.

TASAF’s Regional Coordinator, Ms Roseline Kimaro, highlighted the workplace’s efforts in implementing authorities directives by the Ministry of the President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG).
These directives guarantee beneficiaries are well-prepared earlier than receiving loans from 10 per cent of the council’s income.
“We are ensuring that beneficiaries are equipped to manage profitable projects using the loans provided by their councils. The goal is to prevent them from falling back into poverty after graduating from the programme,” she defined.
