Samia types two commissions to handle Ngorongoro points
ZANZIBAR: President Samia Suluhu Hassan has established two commissions to handle important points regarding the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
The first fee, composed of 10 members and chaired by Justice Dr Gerald Ndika, will give attention to resolving land disputes within the space, as introduced by Chief Secretary Dr Moses Kasiluka.
An announcement issued by the Director of the Presidential Commission, Ms Sharifa Nyanga, famous that the President additionally shaped a second fee to judge the implementation of the voluntary relocation of residents from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This fee will likely be chaired by retired Permanent Secretary, Engineer Musa Iyombe.

The formation of those commissions follows President Samia’s assembly with conventional Maasai leaders from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, held on December 1, 2024.
The commissions are tasked with offering in-depth assessments of land-related grievances and reviewing the progress and effectiveness of the voluntary relocation initiative.
