Education CS Releases KCSE 2024 Exams, How To Check

Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba has launched the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KSCE) examination outcomes on the Mitihani House in Nairobi.

According to CS Ogamba, 962,512 folks took the nationwide examination, which concluded on November 22, 2024.

Education CS introduced that 17 topics, together with Maths, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, recorded enhancements whereas 10 topics, together with English and Home Science, recorded drops in efficiency.

A complete of 246,391 scored direct entry to college grades of above C+ in comparison with 201,133 in 2023. According to Ogamba, for the primary time, the Ministry will introduce mid-year assessments for people wishing to repeat KCSE exams.

“Starting this year and following extensive stakeholder consultation, I wish to announce that KNEC will introduce a mid-year series of the KCSE examination. It will target candidates wishing to repeat the examination,” he acknowledged.

“Consequently, performance is improving in schools all over the country. More girls, for instance, are now enrolling and completing their schooling,” he acknowledged.

All the candidates can now verify their outcomes through the official KNEC portal; outcomes.knec.ac.ke The candidates must enter their index quantity and the title (s) as per the registration information for the 2024 KCSE examination.

For the primary time, candidates will be unable to entry their KCSE outcomes by way of SMS code.
