10 South Sudanese deported from Egypt – Sudans Put up

JUBA – The South Sudan National Police Service stated on Monday that they’ve obtained 10 South Sudanese deported from Egypt.

Col. John Kassara Koang Nhial, spokesperson, stated the deportees had been reunited with their households.

“On December 23, 2024, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) received 10 South Sudanese deportees at Juba International Airport. No criminal charges were filed against them; therefore, they were reunited with their families, as they had no criminal records,” Nhial stated in a safety replace report on Monday.

Nhial stated that the general safety scenario from December 26 to 30, 2024, was comparatively calm and secure all through the nation, with solely minor incidents reported.

He stated there was no report of street ambush and assault on highways and interstate routes in the course of the Christmas interval.

However, he stated some states and administrative areas recorded minor and remoted prison occurrences, together with social violence.

According to Nhial, in Gumel-Ayok-Thok village of Kuach North Payam, Gogrial West County, a 31-year-old housewife was crushed to dying by her husband in a home violence incident on December 26, 2024.

He stated the perpetrator was apprehended, and a case was opened on the Kuajok County Police Station.

“On December 26, 2024, a 20-year-old male was assaulted and stabbed to death in the Lologo residential area of Wau. The suspect was apprehended, and a case was opened at the Wau Town Police Station for further investigations.”

Additionally, on December 26, 2024, a 12-year-old woman was raped by a 38-year-old man in Majook-Yien-Thiou of Awiel East County.

“The victim was taken to Malual-Kon Hospital for a medical check-up, and the suspect was apprehended. A case was opened at the Awiel East County Police Station for further investigations.”

He stated that on December 27, 2024, a 44-year-old Sudanese international nationwide was shot and injured by an unidentified armed perpetrator in Kejin Boma of Maban County.

“On December 27, 2024, an armed Sudanese man missed his target and accidentally shot his wife in the Maban refugee camp. He was apprehended and detained at the Maban County Police Station for further investigations.”

“The police hereby warn all club owners about the risks and consequences of allowing teenagers to organize and conduct unlawful discos, parties, or social gatherings secretly at their premises.”
